Sunrise and sunset in beautiful San Diego present a mirage of color, at least through the eyes of artist Liz Jardine. Liz utilizes the hard edge contemporary quality of polished aluminum as a backdrop for beautiful swathes of color, sneaking in tissue paper and acrylic medium to create an illusive horizon. The finished compositions float off the wall on a 2 inch riser. Each is handpainted and will vary slightly in color and composition.
