VERTICAL ENVY III

This series of three panels sandwiched between panes of clear glass come from the prolific hand of artist Susan Adamson-Ray. The background colors and textures, although originally painted on canvas, are printed on fine art paper as giclees. After sealing the archival printing inks, Susan chose metallics in warm gold and cool silver and applied them in multiple layers to make the earth hued background dance with delight. Any one, a pair, or all three could be hung horizontally to create an equally impressive statement over a bed or sofa.
