DRAMATIC CANTONI DESIGN FOR HUDSON TERRACE
Last eNewsletter, we told you about Cantoni Los Angeles designing the interiors of a model unit for Toledo Homes’ Delacey Place condominiums in Pasadena. Owners Mike and Nairian Balian loved the results so much, they asked the LA team to stage a condo in their new Hudson Terrace project.
The staging was a collaboration of Cantoni LA general manager Jay Haen; director of corporate design and media relations, Alissa Sutton, and operations assistant Denise Medina. The same team worked on the Balian’s Delacey Place project.
Alissa: “Our client wanted a fully staged unit that would express what life in this clean, sleek, contemporary development could be. Our task was to create stunning interiors that would stir the imagination of their prospective buyers, as well as complement the architecture and ambiance of Hudson Terrace.
“Jay and I visited the property and met with clients to discuss what they wanted and needed. We even got to pick out some of the finishes, as we all collaborated on the carpeting, the hardwood flooring and the color scheme.
“We returned to the store, laid out the floor plan and selected product. We proposed a black and white scheme with chrome and glass accents for the main living and dining areas. Upstairs we went with browns and creams with accent colors to create a sexy, hip, contemporary space.
“I suggested painting a few accent walls black to go along with the black and white palette. The clients weren’t 100% sure how that was going to turn out, but they trusted us.
“Once it was complete, they loved the walls: this touch created contrast and made a bold, simple statement. Jay and I went with our delivery and installation crew and made sure each piece was in place, and no detail was overlooked. We even chose the bedding, towels, and accessories.
“With everything good to go, the client had a complete unit to show. How was it received? Well, less than two weeks after completion the unit sold with everything in it!”
Great job, LA. Now the same team is working with the Balians designing and staging another fabulous condo unit for Hudson Terrace. We hope to do many more staging projects for this wonderful client.
And while I’m on that subject, if you’re in the market to sell your house, condo, loft, or an entire development, contact Cantoni to learn more about our fabulous staging capabilities: from design, to supplying the furnishings to helping you in any way we can with the marketing.

KUDOS TO DENISE MEDINA, CANTONI EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER
This is the season for Cantoni LA folks and especially the Toledo Homes projects team members to shine. In addition to Alissa and her HGTV appearance, LA operations assistant Denise Medina has been voted Cantoni Employee of the [1st] Quarter.
Like our most recent quarter winner, David DeLeon of Cantoni headquarters, Dallas, Denise is one of those go-to individuals who just gets things done, whether it’s strictly in her job description or not. She was an invaluable part of the Hudson Terrace and Delacey Place projects, and, as Employees of the Quarter are nominated and voted on by their peers, she’s invaluable to our company.
Congrats Denise!
