For Brittni Shalit, working at Cantoni “quite literally feels like coming home.” With her South African ancestry – where our Founder and CEO also hails from – Brittni feels a personal connection to Cantoni that only grows stronger with her love for the interior design industry, which stemmed from her studies in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design | The New School in New York City, where she also lived for 10 years.
After living in what she describes as a “shoebox apartment” in NYC where she had to learn to maximize her space, it’s no wonder that Brittni’s specialty is closet systems. “I quickly learned how to play Tetris with my furniture and how to maximize my storage to curate my shopping addiction.” Utilizing this skill, Brittni loves working on new projects that allow her to see how a beautiful and functional closet can impact her client’s life.
In her free time, you can expect to find Brittni curating her own closet, where her personal style leans toward a mix and match of high and low, with an edgy, timeless, and slightly western feel. “When one of your hobbies is shopping, you’re forced to get creative in your own home very quickly.”
