With more than two decades spent building his career in the design and fashion realms, John knows the importance of combining form with function. “Creative, comfortable design can transform a person both visually and emotionally,” he says. “Striking the right balance of peace and comfort—whether in mixing luxurious fabrics and textiles or leaning toward more well-tailored pieces—is key.”

Raised in Southern California, John spent more than 20 years in the fashion apparel industry before operating his own visual merchandising firm for retail and trade shows. He applies his knack for mixing the serene and aesthetically pleasing at Cantoni, where he also thrives on getting to know his clients. “A well-designed, thoughtful environment should be personal, expressing a client’s dreams and aspirations,” he says. “I truly enjoy meeting new people and determining how to best bring their style home.”

John’s own personal style melds the modern with the eclectic. “Like many European cities, it’s a mix of old-world craftsmanship with clean, contemporary lines,” he says. His penchant for the latter is just one reason he has held a longstanding interest in Cantoni. “I’m proud to be a part of the Cantoni family and have the chance to create great work with our clients,” he says.
