“Simple, elegant, eclectic and with a splash of color,” is how Michelle describes her aesthetic. Often inspired by travel, she appreciates “learning about different cultures and mixing styles,” she says. Her work is also a testament to her upbringing in Puerto Rico, and her experience – she has designed for one of the largest home developers in the Caribbean and previously owned her own business as a real estate broker and design consultant.
Fluent in Spanish, English, and proficient in Italian, Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Puerto Rico and a master’s degree in interior design from the University of Salamanca in Spain.
Since joining Cantoni, she has honed a “less is more” approach and enjoys working with her clients to make their spaces inviting and functional. “If it my clients feel cozy, happy and peaceful, the goal is achieved,” she says. “I take great joy in making them happy and satisfied.”
