Thomas Müller is a designer, born in 1959. He studied at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Stuttgart as well as at the Royal College of Art in London. Jörg Wulff is a designer born in 1968. He studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, as well as College of Art and Design Bournemouth and Pool. Together, they have been in design business since 2011 in Berlin, where the city is the focus of their inspiration, lives, and work. Architecture, interior architecture and design are their working priorities. The aesthetic quality of their creations is defined through the search for balance between creative restraint and the communication of the main concept. The starting point of all their creations is a substantial story as the leitmotif of creation. The opportunity for change, experience, memory, amongst many others, show the emotional side of a product. They believe that is how furniture communication over and above its pure function.
Twill Fabric; 72% Wool/ 20% Polyester/ 8% Polymide
A stretch fabric offers the upholsterer entirely new options: rounding is easier to deal with, a lot less seams are needed and the fabric will not wrinkle on moving parts, because it pulls itself straight again. Besides elastic yarns, the fabric contains twill and a large share of wool (72%). It repels dirt and is highly fire-retardant.
Beans Fabric; 32% Wool/ 42% Polyester/ 3% Polymide/ 8% Other Fibers
A stretch fabric offers the upholsterer entirely new options: rounding is easier to deal with, a lot less seams are needed and the fabric will not wrinkle on moving parts, because it pulls itself straight again. The filling in the fabric gives Beans more depth but above all a face all of its own.
