Marco Marzini was born in Aosta in 1981. He graduated in 2011 at Milan Polytechnic in Industrial Design with a thesis entitled “From appearing to being, tools to uncover the design from the design.” He specializes in product design, exhibition design and graphics. In 2008 he collaborated with Lorenzo Palmeri in the development of “Ast” a Corian digital musical instrument; at the same time he began a collaboration with Mumble Mumble, creative resins lab with whom he designed the lamp “Kafka” exhibited at the Milan Furniture Fair 2009 at the showroom Gobbetto. Since 2009 he has worked at the Foundation Achille Castiglioni in which he will develop, two years later, construction projects for Guido Tommasi Editore at Taste 2011 and 2012 in Florence. In 2011, with Giovanna Castiglioni performs the touring exhibition “Home Castiglioni“at the first edition of AbitaMi Milan and then in Rome, in the showroom Angolo in. For the Foundation Achille Castiglioni, with Jannelli & Volpi and Corraini, he develops some inspired graphics objects designed by the Castiglioni brothers. During the Salone del Mobile 2012, with the newly formed company in Brescia Ilide, he presents the coin trays “Tense”. Now he undertakes and self-produces a small series of luminaires Minimum Design by Creative Logic presented in Mantua 2012. He is currently visiting lecturer at the Polytechnic of Milan in the laboratories of the theory and practice of the design of the 1st and 3rd year. He is very active in the research field and testing for project awareness.
