The Cantoni design team met with Craig to discuss floor plans and his vision for a sleek, modern, and colorful living space. The design process began by selecting a color palette. Inspired by Empire at King’s architectural style and use of natural stones and woods, the design team chose neutral tones including black, grey, silver, and white to create a sleek, modern aesthetic appeal.
To create unique focal points in each space, the design team placed bold, colorful statement pieces such as the Fera Rosso entertainment unit in high gloss red lacquer in the living room and the red sculptural Nemo Face chairs on the terrace.
The unit features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. However, the Cantoni design team chose to turn one of the guest bedrooms into a functional office space, showcasing the unit’s versatility. The new office space was outfitted with the hand-stitched black leather Winner desk, Camino arm chair and espresso-stained oak leaning Eilleen bookshelf. The master suite was furnished with pieces in grey hues and white lacquer while the second bedroom was outfitted in all black furnishings with metal accents to create a high drama effect.
The terrace which functions as an extension of the living space features the sculptural Nemo Face chairs as well as an outdoor dining table and seating from our eco-friendly Lido and Lucca collections.
“My experience with Cantoni was positive and professional,” says Craig. “They exceeded our expectations in terms of their level of service and vast product portfolio.” Laughing he adds, “I only wish we could have done another unit!”
