Since arriving at Cantoni in 2010, Angela has refined her trademark aesthetic to read sophisticated, well-appointed, — and poignant. “Environments should have meaning beyond their simple physical reality,” she says. “Gaining a deep understanding of my clients’ lifestyles and what is important to them enables me to evoke emotion, provide creative solutions and create with sound intention.”
Angela’s proclivity toward inviting, versatile design — she has a knack for blending calming neutrals with a traveler’s collections — began at an early age. “I have always loved beautiful architecture and interiors,” she says. “My mother instilled an appreciation for luxurious things, so interior design was a given.” Since earning her degree from Texas Southern University, she has spent decades designing residential spaces with a goal toward individualism.
Her own leanings are readily apparent — she’ll opt for champagne on a night out, a glance into her closet reveals key pieces by St. John and Louboutin stilettos, and fresh calla lilies are a staple on her bedside table. “I always aim for elegance,” she says.
