Born in the heart of LA, “where inspiration from all cultures and art flourishes through street murals,” Angeline studied interior design at the Art Institute of North Hollywood and at Long Beach City College before overseeing residential design projects while working at major furniture stores. She ascribes to the motto that, “there is no such thing as a bad design if it captures your soul,” and believes success is found when “a client’s vision becomes the outcome.”
Angeline has long held a passion for design—her father ran a successful custom upholstery business and she helped him pair patterns and colors. “His work ethic and immaculate attention to detail inspired me,” she says. Her upbringing, along with her innate talents for drawing, painting and psychology, ignited her career. “I knew design was one of my gifts to give to others” she adds.
Clients find Angeline, who also is fluent in Spanish, to be social and creative. Her design style is influenced by her client’s past, present and future motivations. “A room should speak about you as an individual and always feel inviting” she iterates. Her design inspiration comes from a hobby, she loves to capture photographs of the sky at sunset. “The infinite color combinations mesmerize me,” she utters. “I try to take it all in and create my own unique color schemes.” Like an artist at work, she translates these palettes into her designs, along with Cantoni’s furnishings. “I love how unique and exclusive Cantoni’s products are—every piece tells a story,” she says with a smile.
