“A successful design is when you enjoy a space every time you’re in it,” Danna says. To achieve this ambition, she takes a progressive design approach that focuses on artfully communicating her clients’ personalities. “I have a passionate drive to create spaces that are inspired and individual reflections of my clients,” she says.
Danna is ASID certified and prior to joining Cantoni in 2014, worked with some of the top design and architecture firms in the world, completing hospitality and residential projects — restaurants, spas, boutique hotels — and high-end residences in Asia, South America and the U.S. She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese. “My experience across countries and cultures gives me a unique perspective,” she says.
Her multidisciplinary method spans architecture to furniture and product design — she has long been an artist. “I have loved drawing, art, and admiring artistic objects since I was young,” she says. No matter where her projects lead, you’ll often find her in museums, art galleries, and textile and flea markets in her downtime. Or, at the beach. “I love long walks and watching sunsets,” she says. “They are instantly calming.”
