Phillip Behrens started building custom bunk-beds at a young age. Over the span of 35 years, the childhood hobby became a passion, Phillip earned a Mechanical Engineering Degree in the US. After a 3-year woodworking apprenticeship in Germany, focusing on chair deign and construction, he returned o the US and formed his own studio, Natura Designs.
Povl Eskildsen began gathering furniture design and production knowledge over two decades ago, working in his family's furniture factory. Having developed a significant "hands-on" early interest and experience, Polv studied and graduated with a Masters Degree in Furniture Design from the Denmark School of Architecture in Arhaus in 1986. Since then, Povl has worked successfully as a freelance furniture designer all over the world. Many of his designs are considered icons in the furniture industry and are still selling after 30 years.

- Acrylic Stone Top
- Gloster acrylic stone is a durable material that is impact resistant, scratch resistant and wear resistant even in areas of high-use. Gloster acrylic stone is non-porous, has excellent hygiene properties and is easy to clean. The solid surface material consists of an inorganic filler and high-quality acrylic polymeric binder. Unlike many other solid surface materials, Gloster acrylic stone is highly resistant to exposure to UV light and will not fade or dis-color when used outdoors.
- Hardwood Teak Base
- Gloster selects each log of teak hardwood based on their low natural defects, providing you with the highest quality product. Teak is perfect for outdoor use due to its high oil content, which makes it extremely weather resistant. Left to weather naturally, teak will turn from a golden-brown color to a light silvery grey as the pigments in the surface layer of the wood begin to fade away. We recommend that you allow your teak furniture to weather naturally and simply clean thoroughly once or twice a year with either a water and mild detergent solution or ideally, Gloster's Teak & Upholstery Cleaner.
