Sean Ames’ passion for design began early on. From studying art to working in real estate, his career as a designer didn’t blossom until he found himself helping a friend at his design firm. After working for a boutique firm and a couple of furniture stores, Sean discovered his love for identifying a client’s aesthetic and elevating it with the unexpected. “I think balance, a well-conceived color palette, texture, and the right amount of artwork and well-curated accessories can take it to the next level.”
A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Sean is a people person. His outgoing personality and determination to see a project through to the end allows him to work alongside his clients in both residential and commercial spaces. “I love when I have the opportunity to see a project through from conception to completion,” he said. “I feel equally capable of designing a large office space or an entire home.”
Enthralled by architecture and design, you’ll likely find Sean visiting art galleries and museums in his free time and searching for the perfect art book to complete his collection. At Cantoni, “I love the products that we sell, as well as the people that I have the privilege of working with.”
