Tammie Turano

After growing up in a small town in North Texas, Tammie Turano is proud to say that she is a country girl at heart. Her humble, easy-going nature and desire to make a difference in people’s lives brought her to the interior design industry, where after college, she took a position with a small design firm in Plano, Texas and instantly fell in love with everything interior design. After 30 years in the design and remodeling industry, Tammie brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table.

At the root of her designs, Tammie believes that communication is the most important factor when it comes to working with her clients. “Listening to the client’s needs and bringing their vision to life is important,” she says. Always striving for excellence, mastering her craft, and above all, creating happy homeowners, Tammie enjoys redesigning all rooms of the house, including transforming kitchens and bathrooms. “I just really love paying attention to the details of those spaces.”

Tammie’s passion for design and acute attention to details can also be seen in one of her favorite hobbies – transforming old furniture into beautiful works of art. She always gets a certain satisfaction in refinishing small furniture pieces to give it new life. Tammie is very excited to be working at Cantoni where she can develop lasting relationships with her clients, utilize Cantoni’s expansive portfolio to create stunning spaces, and work alongside a design team that is “beyond extraordinary”.
