- Sucupira (also called Brazilian Walnut) is very durable, quite stable and has strong grain texture. Sucupira is a medium/dark brown to reddish brown. As with most lighter natural wood veneers, subtle differences in shade, tone and color are expected and treasured as part of the natural beauty. This is a beautiful, unique wood found in South America.
