Bailey Richmond

A meticulous planner who takes a calculated approach toward design – and life – Bailey long knew she would be an interior designer. She received her bachelor’s of fine arts degree in interior design from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago and has since created both commercial and residential spaces around the nation. She joined Cantoni in 2008. “I love sharing my passion for great design with others,” she says. “I find it exciting to meet new people, translate their ideas into concepts, and then exceed their expectations.”

Bailey, a Crown Point, Indiana, native, believes that “every room has a personality.” “I love going into a fresh space, listening to my clients’ needs, then working with them to mix styles, colors and materials to pull a room together,” she says. She draws inspiration from architecture appreciated during her time spent living in Chicago and on her travels to France and Spain, but favors clean lines and a fresh, lighthearted approach.

It’s a balancing talent that extends to her personal life: she’s a multitasking mother of two. “I’ve become an expert at creating solutions on the fly,” she says, and laughs. “Oftentimes an unexpected challenge is the source of our most creative moments.”
