This is artful living. The concept for the Cantoni House was born from the desire to achieve a marriage of great modern architecture with the Cantoni Collection by utilizing all the resources of the Cantoni Design Studio. Today many homes are built without taking into consideration a design plan for the interiors of the home. We believe that, with the resources of the Cantoni Design Studio and our talented architectural and construction team, we have the perfect solution to building and designing fully furnished homes. This approach is unique in the Dallas area and we feel that we will be redefining the way modern homes are built and purchased in this market.
Axis is the name of the house which takes its name from the magnificent architecture. The theory behind the name is that the house was designed using primary and secondary visual axes. The primary axis runs the full length of the house and connects all the interior and exterior spaces. The secondary axes define spaces off of the main axis such as the formal living room, dining, master suite and office. The whole experience of walking through the house reinforces the axis theme. Enter through the large pivot front door and your view is to a dazzling outdoor sculpture. In fact every axis ends with a dramatic focal point. At times a sculpture. Another time a fabulous tree or the pool and gardens.
Axis was designed for living and entertaining. The home is laid out on the plot of land to divide the property in order to create courtyards on either side of the house. Both offer incredible views from inside the home. In the downstairs family area a dramatic 22’ long counter connects the state-of-the-art Italian kitchen, bar, and family room together for seamless space for entertaining family and friends. In fact the whole family room opens to the pool, courtyard and a peaceful covered terrace.
Axis is currently listed by Briggs Freeman for $3,895,000. Furniture, artwork and audio-visual equipment available for purchase, but not included in the list price. Click here to view the listing online>
